BabyCloud, is a platform for capturing, storing and analyzing daylong audio and photo recordings of children’s linguistic environments. The platform is composed of 3 components: Baby Logger, a wearable sensor which collects high definition pictures and high-quality recordings to be later decoded by machine learning algorithms, Baby Dock which transfers the data to a secure cloud server and recharges the recorder’s batteries and Baby Explorer, a mobile application which allows families to manage and search their data with personalized statistics about their child’s linguistic and cognitive development, games…

Bilbao Fashion Tech Lab is a project that seeks to create an ecosystem favorable to the use of new wearable technologies as a niche of opportunity for the fashion and technology sector. For this aim to be achieved, the City Hall of Bilbao invited me to be one of the experts to design and coordinate the BFT Lab project. The goal of the project was to work with local maker technologists and 5 companies/ designer in the fashion industry to develop an interactive garment or fashion accessory that includes electronic textile technology and/or is created through digital fabrication.  I was responsible to develop the programm “Five prototypes”. During the project, I guided the participant entities in the different stages. Also, I design the corporate identity  and website of the project. The European Social Found provided funding to develp this project.

Bilbao Fashion Tech Lab es un proyecto que busca crear un ecosistema favorable al uso de las nuevas tecnologías vestibles como nicho de oportunidad para el sector de la moda y la tecnología. Para ello, el Ayuntamiento de Bilbao me invitó a ser uno de los expertos encargados de diseñar y coordinar este proyecto cuyo objetivo era trabajar en colaboración con tecnólogos locales, universidades y empresas de moda, para impulsar el desarrollo de nuevos productos de tecnología vestible. En este proyecto fuí la encargada de diseñar y ejecutar el programa “Five prototypes”. Como responsable, tuve la tarea de guiar y asesorar a 5 empresas de moda en el desarrollo de un producto con tecnología. Además, fui la encargada del diseño de la identidad corporativa y website. Este proyecto contó con el apoyo económico del Fondo Social Europeo.

CIRCOLAB is the laboratory of educational and technological experimentation itinerant launched in 2015 by Spanish mobile brand BQ. During the project, I was responsible for modifying the first version of the Mini Blip board to make it wearable and easy to use with materials such as electricity paints. As a responsable of the experience design, I suggested to make changes in the first version of the the tool to run STEAM workshops during the tour.

CIRCOLAB fue un laboratorio de experimentación educativo y tecnológico itinerante impulsado por la empresa de móviles BQ en el año 2015. Durante el proyecto Circolab, fui la responsable de modificar el diseño de la primera version de la placa Mini Blip para hacerla vestible o fácil de trabajar con materiales como pinturas conductoras de electricidad durante el tour. Como responsable del desarrollo de las actividades durante el tour., propuse cambios en el diseño de la placa para poder desarrollar e impartir talleres con esta actividades con un enfoque STEAM.

Conexiones improbables is a platform that facilitates collaborations between artists and companies. In 2013 I collaborated with a silicone company to develop a type of silicone that can be used in 3D printers. I was responsible to guide the company on research and development for a new product. Also I was introducing the employees to applications of digital fabrication and 3D printers with the goal of the development of a line of business linked to the culture maker.This project was conceived within this framework as a line of research whose aim was to manufacture a type of silicone suitable for 3D printing, which along with the maker movement is predicted to be the future of industrial production.

Conexiones improbables es una plataforma que facilita colaboraciones entre artistas y empresas. En esta plataforma colaboro con una empresa de siliconas para desarrollar un tipo de silicona que pueda ser usada en impresoras 3D. Para esta empresa, trabajo como consultora e imparto formación sobre fabricación digital e impresoras 3D para la apertura de una nueva línea de investigación I+D vinculada a la cultura maker para la creación de un nuevo producto.  THINK-OF-SILICONE es la línea de investigación que se definió para fabricar un tipo de silicona adecuada para la impresión 3D.

Heatit is an open-source electronics platform to precisely output high current. It is designed to be powerful, modular and compact. I was part of the team that design the board and in 2011 we launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the product.

Heatit es una plataforma de código abierto pensada para activar materiales ineligentes como el nitinol que necesitan mucha corriente eléctrica. Esta placa esá diseñado para ser modular y compacta. Fui parte del equipo y colaboradora en el diseño de este producto. En 2011 lanzamos una campaña de Kickstarter para financiar el producto.

During a scholar year  I work as a research assistant for Fashionable Technology Lab created by Sabine Seymour. I assist in creating and collecting content for presentations, blog and other 2.0 tools for the Fashionable Technology Lab. Create a visualization of the lab. Qualifications: knowledge of using blog and other 2.0 tools and creating digital content, interested in fashion & technology & design & science, knowledge of graphic design and animation/video software.
